Description
The Kelln S600 Piston Pump is a 7GPM, single cylinder, double action surface pump (non-submersible), featuring a safety relief valve/overload protection and capable of 20 ft. of suction (self-priming to 8 ft.). The Piston Pump can be controlled by a float switch or optionally, by using a pressurized tank/switch to supply a pressurized pipeline which can serve single or multiple outlets. This pump is fully serviceable and has reasonable tolerance to potentially abrasive fine particles in the water. As a non-submersible positive displacement pump it does require freeze protection. The pump is portable and can easily be relocated. The pump should be protected from the elements (in a pump house), and is a two season pump, it does not tolerate freezing, and will crack. The Piston Pump is our best pump for traversing land, it can move water up to a mile (using 2" line). The system will water a maximum of 190 cow/calf pairs (at 20 ft), and 80 pairs at 140 ft of lift.
